The roadmap, the take-off
From now
to the first wave.
The trajectory to the Village opening on Target 2030-2032, in three prospective acts.
Act I · Second half of 2026
The take-off is now.
H2
Territorial dialogue
The project meets local stakeholders.
Phase of open dialogue with residents, neighbours & local elected officials, first public meeting on 12 June 2026, followed by dialogue with associations and State services, ahead of the statutory consultation process. First step of territorial listening.
H2
Technical studies
The file being built.
In-depth technical studies on hydrology, biodiversity, energy, mobility and land. Progressive construction of the regulatory file in consultation with State services.
H2
Public website
The project steps out of the shadows.
The Surfers Village Paris site goes public. Pitch, figures, references, 3D vision, all accessible. The project becomes legible to anyone who wants to discover it.
H2 2026
General mobilisation
The ecosystem activates.
All the material is here to show, explain, bring people on board. Investors, partners, operators, federations, first Membership members, this is the moment.
The metaphor
An endless paddle for one wave.
This is the culmination of a huge amount of preparation work. A big paddle to catch the bomb. And now, the window opens, it's time to give that big stroke that makes me catch the wave, take that big drop: take-off. We tip fully into the chosen trajectory.
The feeling: this is it. I'm here. It's now.
Act II · 2028 → 2031
The construction.
The first ride barely finished, after being tumbled by a surge of sensations, it's time for an even more intense paddle, the one where the ocean's lessons become the hardest, the most testing. The lineup, that obstacle that sometimes seems impassable, tossed by currents and the intensity of the waves: the ocean teaches me humility, resilience, tenacity. I don't let go. I persist. I advance. Each stroke is a step towards another bomb to surf, probably the most unique, the most bumpy of all: the administrative phase, planning permission, financing, construction. The least glamorous phase. But the most decisive for turning this dream into reality, and for Surfers Village Paris to open on target 2030-2032.
2027
Studies & pre-permit
Detailed technical studies, definitive masterplan, environmental impact studies, public consultation.
2028—29
Planning permission
Submission, review, approval. Finalisation of institutional & private financing.
2029—31
Construction
Construction of the lagoon, The Hive, villas, Health Centre project. The full 12-ha site under construction.
Target 2030-2032
Opening
Inauguration of Surfers Village Paris. The vision of a 14-year-old child becomes a 2.1 m wave under the Île-de-France sky.
Act III · 2030 → 2031 → 2032+
The opening, and beyond.
I move from Pipeline on the North Shore that magical but terribly dangerous left, where the slightest misstep sends you onto the reef, where concentration and preparation are non-negotiable, to the waves of the Côte des Basques in Biarritz, where surfing is done like Waikiki, in Honolulu: in sharing, at a gentler pace. I move from a solitary wave where I alone commit, but supported on the side by all those who help me, to total conviviality in the water, with those who will have believed in the Village. All these efforts bring us together. Target 2030-2032, at the Village opening. But the opening is not an end it is the beginning of the project's real life.
Target 2030-2032
Village opening
The first wave.
SurfPark, Health Centre project, The Hive, Surf Academy, hotels & residences. The Village lives. The first Members, the first visitors, the first sessions.
2030-2032
First anniversary
One year of real-world feedback.
Public review of the first year: footfall, health indicators, community feedback, adjustments. Open publication of figures.
Annual
Cerema audit / Independent third party
Honouring commitments with numbers.
Commitment made in Issues & Commitments: annual independent audit of environmental and health indicators. Public publication.
I'm not catching this wave alone. To understand who is paddling with me, and why…
